We are a fellowship of Christians who seek to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our worship and in the community we serve.

Belief in God is our central message but we also want you to belong to our church and have a sense of community. For many years, the church has asked people to believe; then they could belong. But we'd like you to belong, then the belief will come naturally, because we have a message of love from God which is fulfilling and nurturing and will give spiritual healing which will help energise and shape your future.

We have a varied and interesting programme that changes constantly.

There is a Mums, Toddler and Baby group on Tuesday Mornings in the upstairs Church Hall. All welcome including DADS.

Come for coffee or a chat and for your children to play.

Come and start Bell Ringing. We meet on Tuesdays in the tower at 7.30pm. You can learn from scratch or come and practise.

St Mary's for over 600 years.

• We are the largest Parish Church in Chard.

• We have an active and busy congregation

• We cover all ages from 0 to 110

• We are part of the Anglican Communion

• All are welcome.

We are a varied congregation with a Worship to suit all. There are many events through the year from Skittles to Barn Dancing.

We have a very active branch of the Mothers Union. They hold monthly talks and meetings. Christian Care for Families.
