Sunday club…..well where do I begin? Sunday club is just one of those things that no matter how hard you try, you just CANNOT put it into words great enough to describe it! But I’ll give it my best shot!!
Well, first of all Sunday club is a group of absolutely AWESOME young people and youth leaders that meet once every Sunday in the church rooms. Some regulars to the church may have noticed that we make a LOT of mess when we’re doing craft, (sorry about that guys!)
But hey, that’s us!
In January we did the youth alpha course and went on a trip to Westcott farm in February which Lottie wrote an article about in the April issue.
We do a lot of fun stuff such as craft, drama, songs and general STUFF; talking about Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
We’ve become more associated with things like Christian festivals over the past couple of years such as soul survivor, which I am very much looking forward to going to this august!
What we usually do at Sunday club is first sing some songs with all the groups downstairs in the church rooms. Then the younger group go upstairs and thunder around like elephants for a bit (typical!)
Leaving the older group to dance around to some soul survivor music which is rockin’ baby!
After that we sit down and have a slideshow and discussion (this is often led by Rachel price)
Along with biccies and juice!!!!

Is 9+.
My favourite bit about going to Sunday club is spending valuable time with friends and fellow Christians who are just so fantastic and fun!
Westcott was a great example of this.
Well there you have it folks, a good try to describe what I think is the best club in the world!!(Apart from smyg – St Marys Youth Group and hyg – Holyrood Youth Group)
